TeleUrgentCare

Terms And Services

Introduction

TeleUrgentCare PLLC provides telemedicine services to adults through its online platform, accessible via website or mobile devices. These Terms and Conditions serve to outline the terms of use for TeleUrgentCare's services, and to inform users of the limitations, potential risks, and obligations associated with telemedicine consultations.

Eligibility

TeleUrgentCare services are only intended for use by adults only. By accessing and using the TeleUrgentCare platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with TeleUrgentCare.

Services Offered

TeleUrgentCare provides telemedicine consultations for the evaluation and treatment of minor medical conditions and non-emergent chronic conditions. Services are not intended for severe or life-threatening illnesses, and TeleUrgentCare reserves the right to cancel or refuse treatment to patients with complex or life-threatening conditions.

TeleUrgentCare Consultation Process

To access TeleUrgentCare services, you must complete the account registration process, and select the medical condition you wish to consult on. You will then be asked to provide personal medical information and answer a few questions, after which you will make payment for the consultation fee ($49).

TeleUrgentCare's medical providers will review your request and provide a medical recommendation and prescription, if deemed necessary, within a timeframe of 2 hours. The medical provider may prescribe alternative medication if the preferred or selected drug is found to be potentially harmful, unsafe, controlled, dangerous, or results in adverse drug reactions when taken in combination with your existing medication(s).

Consultation Limitations

It is acknowledged and agreed that the treatments provided by TeleUrgentCare are based on clinical judgment without a comprehensive in-person examination, and that the user agrees to follow-up with a physician for a direct in-person evaluation or seek immediate emergency evaluation in the event that their symptoms worsen or do not improve within a reasonable time frame.

The communication during the virtual visit may occur through online chat or asynchronous messaging, and it is understood that these methods are not as secure as a face-to-face encounter. By requesting this consultation, the user acknowledges that personal health information may be vulnerable to hacking or other malicious behavior.

Financial Responsibility

The consultation fee ($49) does not cover the cost of medication, which must be obtained at a pharmacy at the user's own expense. The user is responsible for paying for the medication at the pharmacy, and may use their insurance to cover the cost of the prescription. It is understood that the cost of drugs or limitations imposed by insurance coverage are not considered valid grounds for a refund.

Medication Refund Policy

You may cancel your telemedicine consultation at any time prior to the transmission of your prescription to a pharmacy, and are entitled to a full refund in such case. However, once the medical provider has completed your treatment plan and transmitted your prescription to the pharmacy, the consultation fee is non-refundable.

Consultation Delays

TeleUrgentCare strives to complete all consultations within a timeframe of 2 hours, but turnaround time may be extended due to various reasons, including but not limited to incomplete medical data, technical difficulties, or high patient volume. In the event that you need to cancel your consultation due to such delays, you agree to do so in a timely manner, and understand that your request for a refund will not be entertained if it is submitted after the transmission of your prescription to the pharmacy.
